Ardova Plc has received international recognition for its outstanding leadership and operational performance in Nigeria’s lubricants sector, earning praise from global energy giant Shell.
The accolade was presented during the 2025 Shell Macro Distributors Cup in Milan, where Ardova was honoured with the prestigious Special Recognition Award. The ceremony, which brings together Shell’s key global partners, spotlighted Ardova’s consistent focus on delivery and its pivotal role as Shell’s authorised macro distributor in Nigeria.
In a statement released Tuesday, Shell officials commended Ardova for its diligence, noting that the company has been instrumental in expanding the reach of high-performance lubricant solutions across West Africa’s largest economy.
Receiving the award on behalf of Ardova, Korede Odufuwa, Assistant General Manager of Shell Lubricants Marketing at the company, described the recognition as a testament to the collective effort of the workforce.
“This award reflects the dedication and collaborative spirit of the Ardova team, as well as the strength of our partnership with Shell. We remain committed to delivering high-quality lubricant solutions, driving operational excellence, and creating lasting value for our customers and partners across Nigeria,” Odufuwa said.
Echoing this sentiment, Ardova’s Managing Director, Moshood Olajide, hailed the award as a milestone that underscores the company’s long-term strategic ambitions.
