Nigerian actress and reality TV personality, Beverly Osu, has expressed her belief that her extensive work in the entertainment industry should have made her a billionaire by now. Speaking candidly on a recent episode of Ghacha’s Chough Podcast, Osu reflected on her career and the challenges of being underpaid despite years of dedication.

Fighting for Fair Compensation

The actress stated that her diverse portfolio—spanning acting, reality TV, modeling, and music videos—would be enough to earn her billionaire status across African currencies. “I have worked so hard; my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa,” she said.

Osu added that, while she remains humble, her efforts and achievements in multiple facets of the entertainment industry justify her pursuit of better compensation. “I am a very humble person, but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire. So, I am fighting for better wages,” she explained.

A Multifaceted Career

Throughout her career, Osu has explored various avenues within the entertainment sector, from luxury modeling and music video appearances to reality television and acting. “I have tried different facets of the entertainment industry. From being a luxury model to video vixen to reality TV star and now actor. I have paid my dues,” she said.

Her statements highlight ongoing concerns in the Nigerian entertainment industry regarding fair pay and recognition, especially for women navigating multiple roles and platforms. Osu’s comments also resonate with broader conversations about valuing talent and ensuring equitable compensation in Africa’s growing entertainment landscape.
