...Offers Exclusive Subscriber Benefits
Globacom has teamed up with global technology leader Samsung to roll out the highly anticipated Galaxy S26 Series in Nigeria, offering exclusive pre-order benefits and special promotions for its subscribers. The collaboration was formally announced during a launch event at Globacom’s corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, attended by high-net-worth customers, industry stakeholders, and members of the media.
As part of the partnership, Glo subscribers gain early access to pre-order the Galaxy S26, coupled with an exclusive masterclass session on the device’s features—a first-of-its-kind offering in the Nigerian market. Purchasers of the Galaxy S26 at any Gloworld outlet nationwide will also receive 18GB of free data under the Glo Smartphone Festival Data Plans, allocated as 3GB per month over six months. Additionally, customers will benefit from a Platinum Number eSIM that provides up to 10GB bonus data each month, enhancing both connectivity and user experience.
At the event, Samsung Product Manager Solomon Osibeluwo highlighted the long-standing partnership between the two companies, emphasizing that Globacom was chosen to host the masterclass due to its history of collaboration and strong market presence. “Samsung remains committed to strengthening its relationship with Globacom while delivering innovative features that enhance both calling and browsing experiences for Nigerians,” Osibeluwo said.
Globacom’s Head of Gloworld, Mohamed Rabie, described the alliance as a strategic move to deliver tangible value to customers. “At Globacom, we believe premium technology should come with premium value. The S26 device was launched just last night by Samsung Nigeria, and we are proud to be the first partner to offer both the masterclass and exclusive pre-order benefits to our customers,” Rabie said.
He added that the Galaxy S26 Series is designed for ambitious and forward-thinking individuals seeking refined design, powerful features, and seamless connectivity. Rabie encouraged Nigerians to visit Gloworld outlets across the country to experience the device firsthand and secure their pre-orders.
