The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially launched the registration process for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) admission exercise. Prospective candidates are now able to obtain application documents from JAMB offices across the country.

In a statement posted on its official X account on Monday, the board confirmed that the sale of application forms commenced on March 2, 2026, and will continue until April 25, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration within this period to avoid missing the deadline.

JAMB emphasized that the Direct Entry registration service is only accessible in person at its offices nationwide. “Please note that this service can be accessed only at our offices nationwide,” the statement read, reiterating the importance of visiting authorized JAMB centers for application processing.

Direct Entry registration is aimed at candidates seeking admission into Nigerian universities through advanced qualifications such as A-levels, OND, NCE, or equivalent programs, rather than the standard UTME route. The board urged applicants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements and to comply with all registration guidelines to facilitate a smooth application process.

With the registration window now open, thousands of candidates across the country are expected to visit JAMB offices to secure their forms and submit applications ahead of the April deadline.
