Nigerian gospel music star Judikay has moved many to reflection and empathy after revealing her deeply personal struggle with recurrent pregnancy loss.

The singer, known for her powerful worship songs, disclosed in a video posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday that she experienced another miscarriage in February 2025. At the time, she was over three months pregnant, making the loss particularly devastating.

Describing the ordeal, Judikay said what initially seemed like mild discomfort quickly turned into a distressing medical emergency. She recounted how cramps and light spotting suddenly progressed into heavy bleeding, a moment she said made her realize she had lost the pregnancy—her sixth miscarriage.

She explained that she was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors carried out a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure following what she described as a missed miscarriage.

While she maintained a composed outlook publicly, expressing gratitude and faith, the singer admitted that the emotional toll remained overwhelming in private moments. She spoke candidly about nights filled with grief, where she struggled with pain and questions despite her strong spiritual convictions.

Her testimony, shared under the hashtag #MyYeshuaStory, has since resonated widely across social media platforms. Many fans and observers have expressed sympathy, with some noting how her experience sheds light on the silent struggles people endure behind closed doors.

Others also reflected on the intersection of faith and hardship, pushing back against the notion that public figures—particularly gospel artists—are exempt from life’s deepest challenges.

Judikay, who welcomed her son with her husband, Anselem Opara, in March 2022, has continued to receive an outpouring of support, prayers, and encouragement from fans and well-wishers as they await further parts of her ongoing story.
