Iconic automotive brand partners with the immersive art and technology festival taking place from 9 - 12 April.

Cape Town’s new immersive light festival, LUMENOCITY, has announced MINI as an official partner of the inaugural event, set to take place at the Company's Garden from 9 - 12 April.

The partnership brings together two creative forces united by a shared commitment to design, innovation and progressive thinking. As part of the collaboration, MINI will support the festival’s programme of immersive light installations and digital artworks that transform public space through art, design and technology.

LUMENOCITY is designed to reimagine the historic Company’s Garden precinct as an open-air gallery of light, where artists, designers and technologists use illumination, projection and interactive media to create experiences that invite audiences to see the city in a new way.

The partnership reflects MINI’s long-standing association with creative culture and forward-thinking design, making the brand a natural fit for a festival built around imagination and innovation.

The festival draws inspiration from internationally renowned light festivals such as Fête des Lumières, the Amsterdam Light Festival, and Vivid Sydney, where light art transforms urban environments into immersive cultural experiences.

Running from 9–12 April, LUMENOCITY invites residents and visitors to explore the Company’s Garden after dark as the historic precinct is transformed into a vibrant landscape of light, art and technology, illuminating Cape Town in unexpected ways. Tickets available at Quicket.
