Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Olalade Ahmed, popularly known as Asake, has offered fans a glimpse into his spiritual life by sharing a video of his Umrah pilgrimage in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

In the clip, posted on his official social media page, the singer is seen engaged in prayer at Raudhatul Jannah, one of the most revered spots within Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the Prophet Muhammad’s mosque. Known among Muslims as the “Garden of Paradise,” Raudhatul Jannah is celebrated as a sacred space for reflection, supplication, and spiritual connection.

The artiste captioned the video simply with “Alhamdulillah”, a common expression of gratitude to God. Fans quickly responded, noting the significance of the post, particularly in light of earlier social media speculation suggesting a possible religious shift in the singer’s life.

Many supporters interpreted Asake’s pilgrimage as a heartfelt affirmation of his Islamic faith.

The journey comes amid a busy period for the singer, who is currently on his global tour and gearing up for upcoming music releases, blending his spiritual devotion with a flourishing international music career.
