The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has appointed the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) as the official television host broadcaster for the World Public Relations Forum 2026, slated to take place in Abuja this November. The announcement was formalized through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding signed at NTA’s headquarters in the capital.
The agreement was signed by Ike Neliaku, President of NIPR, and Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, Director-General of NTA, signaling a collaborative effort to ensure extensive media coverage and engagement for the upcoming global event.
Under the partnership, NTA will provide official broadcast coverage, amplifying discussions and insights from the forum to audiences nationwide and internationally. Organisers expect the event to attract more than 3,000 delegates from approximately 126 countries, positioning it as one of the largest international gatherings in communication and public relations ever hosted in Nigeria.
With NTA’s extensive national and international broadcast reach, key conversations, best practices, and expert perspectives shared at the forum are anticipated to reach millions of viewers, highlighting Nigeria’s growing role as a hub for global public relations discourse.
