This week, two of Rihanna’s past hits make their debut on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., boosting her total and reinforcing her ongoing influence, even during a musical hiatus.
“Kiss It Better” Leads New Global Entries
The higher-ranking of the two new entries is “Kiss It Better,” one of the most prominent tracks from her most recent album Anti, which marked its 10-year anniversary earlier this year. The song debuts at No. 185 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., while “S&M,” a hit from her highly successful Loud era, enters at No. 197, just managing to find a spot on the 200-position ranking.
With these debuts, “Kiss It Better” and “S&M” now represent Rihanna’s lowest-peaking tracks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, surpassing the previous low held by “Don’t Stop the Music,” which reached No. 184 only recently, in late February 2026.
Rihanna Charts Three New Hits in 2026
Despite her extended break from releasing new music, Rihanna has already charted three songs on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. in 2026 alone, and it’s only March. “Don’t Stop the Music” made its debut on the chart in late February, joining “Kiss It Better” and “S&M” this month.
Meanwhile, “S&M” is not currently on the Billboard Global 200 but has charted there before. The single debuted at No. 132 in February 2023 and has not appeared since.
“Kiss It Better” Reaches New Heights Globally
“Kiss It Better” also reaches a new peak on the Billboard Global 200, debuting at No. 139 last week — matching the entry point of her 2009 collaboration “Run This Town” with Jay-Z and Kanye West. The track now surpasses the prior global peaks of “S&M,” “Born Again,” and “Don’t Stop the Music” and may continue climbing in the coming days.
Rihanna’s Top Hits Remain Global Mainstays
Her biggest hits still dominate both global charts. “We Found Love,” her Grammy-winning collaboration with Calvin Harris, and “Only Girl (In the World)” continue to appear on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. Meanwhile, “Don’t Stop the Music” and “Love on the Brain” are present on the Billboard Global 200 but not on the Excl. U.S. tally.
“Kiss It Better” Gains Momentum in U.S. Streaming Charts
The song’s resurgence extends to U.S. rankings as well. “Kiss It Better” debuts at No. 25 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart and rises three spots to No. 12 on the R&B Streaming Songs list, though that is below its previous peak of No. 8.
Even years after their original release, Rihanna’s tracks are proving that her music continues to resonate worldwide, bridging the gap between past hits and current global consumption trends.
