Alozie brings over two decades of experience in the banking industry, with expertise spanning operations, technology, digital banking, retail banking, and business development. Over the years, he has held key leadership roles at major financial institutions, including Diamond Bank, Access Bank, and United Bank for Africa (UBA).
Widely regarded as a specialist in strategic transformation, he has built a reputation for combining technological innovation with operational efficiency to deliver business growth. His career highlights include optimizing complex processes, improving cost efficiency, and expanding business portfolios across competitive markets.
He has previously served as Head of Bankwide Operations at Diamond Bank, Group Head of Digital and Centralised Operations at Access Bank, and held multiple senior roles at UBA, including Group Head of Operations/Transformation, Executive Director (North), and Group Chief Operating Officer.
In his new role, Alozie is expected to leverage his experience in service transformation and profitability to support institutional growth and enhance long-term value creation for stakeholders.
Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Tijjani M. Borodo, welcomed the appointment, describing Alozie as a seasoned professional with a strong track record in operational excellence and business expansion.
