Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared a striking personal testimony at a church event in Tanzania, detailing her past involvement in the occult and the transformative impact of her faith. Speaking at the 2026 Women of Fire Prayer Conference, the 40-year-old actress described her life as a testament to God’s grace and deliverance.

Dikeh recounted a period in her life when she was fully immersed in darkness, saying she once “operated and worked for demons.” She credited her rescue and radical change to God, emphasizing that her story illustrates the power of divine intervention. “He dragged me out of hell,” she declared, urging those in attendance to see her life as proof of God’s unwavering faithfulness.

“If you have ever doubted God, just look at me. If you have ever doubted His grace, His love, or His power to heal, look at me,” Dikeh said. “God goes into hell to drag people out, no matter what they have done or been through.”

The actress detailed the stark contrast between her past and present, describing a journey from addiction and involvement in cults to becoming an active participant in ministry and prayer. “From a drug addict to an altar that praises God. From a devil worshipper to a woman who prays with fire,” she said. Dikeh recounted navigating a “wicked world,” acknowledging the personal struggles and mistakes she endured before her transformation.

Her testimony is part of a series of public declarations in which Dikeh has opened up about being delivered from sexual immorality, anger, masturbation, and addiction after embracing Christianity. In addition to sharing her personal story, she has also been actively involved in ministry, including a recent deliverance session for a female secondary school student.

Dikeh’s speech resonated with attendees as an example of faith’s power to overcome past hardships, offering encouragement to those facing personal challenges and spiritual struggles.
