Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Zendaya explained that the AI-generated images had fooled many fans, some of whom were convinced she and Holland had tied the knot. The actress described being approached by admirers complimenting the photos while she was out in public.
“While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’” Zendaya recounted. “And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real.’”
She added that the experience highlighted how realistic AI-generated content has become, with social media users quick to share and celebrate images without verifying their authenticity.
