Amstel Malta Set to Host Easter Village Across Three Eastern Cities
A multi-city Easter celebration is set to take centre stage across Eastern Nigeria as Amstel Malta rolls out its “Easter Village” initiative in Aba, Awka, and Enugu from April 4 to 6, 2026. The event is designed to bring families together through shared experiences, cultural activities, and wholesome entertainment during one of the region’s most significant festive periods.
Easter, widely regarded as a time for homecomings and reunions, holds deep cultural and social importance across the eastern part of the country. Against this backdrop, the Amstel Malta Easter Village aims to create a vibrant environment where families can reconnect, relax, and celebrate in a safe and engaging setting.
The initiative, according to the organisers, reflects a broader effort to strengthen community ties while delivering memorable holiday experiences. Activities planned for the event are expected to blend entertainment with cultural expression, ensuring that attendees across the three cities enjoy a consistent yet locally relevant experience.
Speaking on the concept, Senior Brand Manager for Amstel Malta and Hi-Malt, Francis Obiajulu, noted that the programme was inspired by the values associated with the Easter season. He emphasised the importance of togetherness, shared joy, and meaningful connections, particularly within communities where family traditions remain central.
Each host city will feature a customised version of the Easter Village, tailored to reflect local culture while maintaining the overall festive identity of the initiative. The approach underscores the brand’s focus on deepening its engagement with communities and celebrating traditions that resonate strongly with its consumers.
The three-day event is expected to draw families and residents seeking a lively yet family-friendly atmosphere to mark the holiday, further reinforcing Easter’s role as a season of unity and celebration.
