Speaking in an unreleased episode of The Honest Bunch, Ekpo detailed what he described as a painful and confusing end to their over decade-long relationship. He claimed he was blindsided after discovering social media posts allegedly showing Lambe marrying another man, despite their marriage not being formally dissolved.
According to Ekpo, the situation left him devastated, particularly after what he described as years of commitment and financial support. He alleged that throughout their 11-year union, Lambe misled him on several issues, including matters relating to starting a family.
The comedian, now 48, said he underwent medical tests over concerns about infertility, only to later discover that his wife had allegedly been using contraceptives without his knowledge. He further claimed she misrepresented medical trips abroad, including a visit to Miami, which he said he believed was for fertility-related treatment but later learned was for cosmetic surgery.
Ekpo also described growing emotional distance in the relationship, alleging that communication became strained and, at times, suspicious. He claimed that even direct messages sent via social media platforms raised concerns from Lambe, who allegedly cited monitoring by immigration authorities as a reason for her reaction.
He recounted long periods of separation, stating that Lambe spent several years abroad while he continued to support her financially from Nigeria. According to him, their eventual reunion was awkward and distant, describing a lack of affection and connection during her visit.
The media personality further alleged that Lambe confided in others about dissatisfaction in the marriage and claimed she lived with a male flatmate during her time abroad, whom he later suspected of being romantically involved with her.
Ekpo and Lambe reportedly married in November 2015 and maintained a largely private relationship. While neither party has officially confirmed a separation, reports suggest Lambe recently remarried in Texas, United States.
As of now, Lambe has not publicly responded to the allegations.
