A touching birthday message to Liam Aloba, son of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has drawn public attention amid a lingering family dispute over the child’s paternity.

Liam’s mother, Omowunmi Aloba, widow of the late artist, took to Instagram to celebrate her son with an emotional tribute, reaffirming her deep love and unwavering commitment to his safety and happiness. In the message, she described Liam as her “heartbeat” and expressed pride in being his parent, pledging to go to any length to protect and support him while remaining his “biggest cheerleader” and “safest harbour.”

In a recent development, a Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has ordered a DNA test to determine the child’s paternity. The directive was issued by Magistrate Adefisoye Sonuga following an application filed by the singer’s father.
