Spotify has confirmed the release date for its upcoming concert film featuring Bad Bunny, capturing a landmark performance in Tokyo as part of its global Billions Club Live series. The one-night event, recorded in Japan, will debut on the streaming platform on April 8.

Titled Billions Club Live With Bad Bunny: A Concert Film, the production documents the Puerto Rican superstar’s high-energy show at the Tipstar Dome Chiba on March 7. The concert took place shortly after his headline appearance at Super Bowl LX, further cementing his global dominance.

The Tokyo performance featured a 17-song setlist packed with some of his biggest hits, including “DtMF,” “Baile Inolvidable,” “Nuevayol,” and “EOO.” One of the standout moments was the debut of a salsa-infused version of his 2018 hit “MIA,” originally featuring Drake. The reimagined track included live appearances from Puerto Rican groups Los Pleneros de la Cresta and Los Sobrinos.

Additional highlights included a crowd-driven rendition of “Yonaguni,” with fans singing along to its Japanese lyrics, and a surprise appearance by reggaetón duo Jowell & Randy during “Safaera.” The evening’s musical atmosphere was curated by DJ Nasthug, who opened and closed the show.

The event also drew notable figures from entertainment and art, including LISA of BLACKPINK and renowned contemporary artist Takashi Murakami.

The Tokyo concert marks Spotify’s first Billions Club Live event in Asia, underscoring the platform’s expanding global footprint. It also reflects Bad Bunny’s continued record-breaking momentum. The artist currently boasts 29 tracks with over one billion streams on Spotify, a milestone few have achieved.

Earlier this year, he made chart history by placing 29 songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs, occupying the entire top 25, while also reaching No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

His performance at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, produced by Roc Nation, further extended his reach, reportedly setting a global viewership record with over 4.157 billion views across broadcast and digital platforms within the first 24 hours.

With the upcoming release of the Tokyo concert film, Spotify continues to spotlight global music icons, while Bad Bunny reinforces his status as one of the most influential artists in the world today.
