The ongoing social media spat involving Afrobeats star Davido and DJ Tunez has taken a new turn, with singer T-Dot stepping in and raising the stakes of the heated exchange.

The latest controversy traces back to a post by DJ Tunez, widely known as Wizkid’s official disc jockey. Tunez had reposted Wizkid in a gym outfit with the caption, “Original, no be fake,” a remark many interpreted as a subtle jab at Davido, who had recently shared photos wearing a similar look.

Davido appeared to take the comment personally, responding with a series of tweets that mocked DJ Tunez—particularly referencing a recent altercation involving Burna Boy.

Davido Fires Shots

In his response, Davido ridiculed the DJ over the incident, writing:

“You’re just a disgusting nasty fellow. Dem use boot carry your steeze forever. Idiot.

E wa woo! Look he’s on the floor.”

The remarks quickly fueled reactions across social media, with fans and industry observers weighing in on the intensifying rivalry.

T-Dot Pushes Back

Singer T-Dot, however, came to DJ Tunez’s defense, challenging the narrative that the DJ was humiliated during the clash with Burna Boy.

He argued that Tunez had been outnumbered and showed courage in the situation, stating:

“Tunez can never lose his steeze for that. He was 1vs10 and punched your besty right in the mouth when he saw they meant him harm. Where I’m from that shows heart. You never stood no where on this earth 10 toes down without your dad’s money, security, and your boys.”

T-Dot’s comments also took a personal swipe at Davido, accusing him of relying heavily on his family’s wealth and influence.

Davido Responds Again

Davido swiftly fired back, dismissing the recurring criticism about his background as outdated:

“Your daddy your daddy nah only thing Una know … why ur papa no hustle … shut up n slide for Tunez.

Na frustration you see inherit from your papa e reach to dey vex.”

Feud Continues to Draw Attention

The back-and-forth has added another layer to the long-standing tensions often seen among top figures in Nigeria’s music industry. With prominent voices now joining the conversation, the dispute shows no immediate signs of cooling off, as fans continue to track each development closely online.
