Taiwo Hassan, widely known by his stage name Ogogo, has explained why he is refraining from intervening in the recent spat between actresses Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele.

Speaking in an interview with Feel Right TV, Ogogo described disputes between women as “too complicated” for him to get involved in, emphasizing that such conflicts are often blown out of proportion.

The latest disagreement between Abraham and Akindele reportedly occurred at actress Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, when Akindele was said to have snubbed Abraham. The incident comes eight months after a previous reconciliation of their long-standing feud.

Ogogo, while refusing to comment directly on the confrontation, chided both actresses for failing to appreciate their successes in the entertainment industry. “It is only an unwise man who would interfere in women’s drama,” he stated.

He elaborated, “I don’t interfere in women’s disputes. Both of them are blessed by God, so why are they fighting? When men have similar issues, they laugh over it and move on, but women will make a mountain out of a low hill. It’s difficult to interfere.”

Ogogo’s remarks followed an announcement by veteran actress Saje, who reportedly reconciled the duo and urged them to take the drama off social media. The ongoing saga underscores the high-profile tensions and reconciliation efforts within Nollywood’s celebrity circles.
