Controversial Nigerian streamer and comedian Carter Efe has stirred reactions online after publicly challenging Afrobeats superstar Wizkid to a celebrity boxing match.

The social media personality made the statement during a recent livestream session featuring Nigerian music star Kcee and businessman E-Money.

Speaking during the livestream, Carter Efe claimed he was ready for a new opponent after defeating controversial singer Portable in a celebrity boxing bout.

“The person I want to fight now is Wizkid, and I want his son Boluwatife to be there. Let him come and take the championship from me if he is man enough,” he said.

The challenge has since generated conversations across social media, especially given the long-standing tension between Carter Efe and Wizkid. Their issues reportedly began after Carter Efe accused the Grammy-winning singer of failing to acknowledge or support him following the release of his tribute song dedicated to the Afrobeats star some years ago.

Carter Efe, who rose to fame online through comedy skits and livestream content, has repeatedly expressed disappointment over Wizkid’s reaction to the song, a situation that has fueled several public outbursts directed at the singer.

He also insisted that Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, should be present during the proposed celebrity fight, a comment that further intensified reactions among fans online.

As of the time of reporting, Wizkid has not publicly responded to the boxing challenge or Carter Efe’s remarks.
