Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has shared details about the public scrutiny her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, faced before they welcomed their first child together.

Speaking during a candid conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Priscilla revealed that many people in Tanzania once speculated that the singer was impotent because he had no child at the age of 35 despite being wealthy, successful, and previously involved in several relationships.

According to her, the rumours became widespread because many of Juma Jux’s friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry already had children or baby mamas, while he remained childless for years.

Priscilla explained that the assumptions persisted even after the couple welcomed their son in August 2025, as some critics still questioned the authenticity of the pregnancy and childbirth.

“In his country Tanzania, people thought he was impotent because he did not have a child or babymama like many of his friends and colleagues. They were like, ‘Why is he not having kids like his friends?’ Because obviously, he has been in past relationships,” she said.

Defending her husband’s choices, Priscilla described him as disciplined and intentional about the timing of fatherhood.

“There were questions but he knew when it was time. He is very disciplined. He knew what he wanted. You can roll with certain people and not be like them,” she added.

The couple’s love story attracted widespread attention across Nigeria and Tanzania in 2025. They officially tied the knot in a civil wedding ceremony held in Tanzania in February before hosting their traditional and white weddings in Lagos two months later.

In August 2025, the pair welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada, marking a new chapter in their relationship amid continued public interest in their family life.
