Nigerian Afrobeats artist Roiea has released a new single titled “No Worry”, a vibrant track centered on optimism, endurance, and staying grounded through life’s challenges.
The song arrives as another step in the artist’s long-running musical journey, one that dates back to 2004 and has steadily built him a reputation for consistency, energetic delivery, and message-driven songwriting.
“No Worry” carries a message of resilience and motivation
According to the artist, the inspiration behind the new release is rooted in encouragement—especially for listeners navigating difficult personal or economic situations. The track blends traditional Afrobeats rhythms with uplifting lyrics designed to connect with a broad audience both within Nigeria and internationally.
He explained that the goal was simple:
The song was created “to inspire people to stay strong and never give up regardless of difficult situations.”
That message sits at the heart of “No Worry”, which uses its sound and structure to reinforce reassurance and emotional upliftment.
A steady rise built on earlier releases
Before this latest release, Roiea had already gained attention with earlier songs such as “Ko Kan Aye,” “Dinkanmu,” and “Arabanko.” These tracks helped shape his identity within the Nigerian music landscape and contributed to a growing and loyal fan base.
Over time, his consistency has become one of his defining traits, with each release further expanding his visibility in the competitive Afrobeats scene.
Inspired by Fela Kuti’s legacy
Born in Imo State, Roiea is currently signed to Kaprisound Entertainment, a label focused on developing and promoting emerging talent.
He has also openly credited legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti as his biggest artistic influence, pointing to Fela’s fearless storytelling and socially conscious music as a guiding force in his own creative direction.
In his words, Fela’s legacy continues to shape his approach to music:
Fela’s fearless approach to music and storytelling remains a major source of motivation in his career.
Looking ahead: global ambitions for Afrobeats reach
As Afrobeats continues its global expansion, Roiea says he is confident about the direction of his career over the next five years. He envisions his music reaching wider international audiences while remaining rooted in messages of inspiration and cultural connection.
With “No Worry” now out, the artist positions himself once again in the growing wave of Nigerian acts pushing Afrobeats beyond local borders and into a broader global conversation.
