As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent through our Fuelling Future Creatives initiative, we recently welcomed Marketing and Business Management students from Covenant University to our office for an immersive industry experience.

 

The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to see firsthand how ideas evolve into impactful campaigns and how different disciplines within an agency come together to solve business challenges.

 

The session began with an introduction to Nitro 121’s mission, values and operations, giving students an overview of the agency’s structure, services and approach to building brands.

 

Students were taken through “A Day in the Life” of brand management, strategy, media and digital communications, offering practical insights into the roles that power modern marketing and advertising.

 


One of the highlights of the visit was a live campaign case study walkthrough led by members of the creative team. Students were exposed to the journey from client brief to strategy, creative development, media planning and campaign execution, helping them connect classroom concepts with real-world application.

 

The experience became even more interactive during a creative challenge where students worked in teams to develop campaign ideas for a student-focused snack brand. The exercise encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving while giving them a taste of agency life.

 

The visit concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, group photographs, and reflections on the future of marketing and creativity.
