Netflix's latest collaboration with bestselling mystery writer Harlan Coben has made an impressive start, with I Will Find You emerging as the platform's biggest new series debut of 2026 after attracting 24 million views within just four days of its release.

The streaming giant revealed that the limited thriller topped its global television rankings for the week of June 15 to June 21. However, Netflix did not clarify the specific release window it used in calculating the series' debut performance.

Starring Sam Worthington, I Will Find You follows the story of David Burroughs, a father serving a life sentence after being convicted of murdering his young son five years earlier. Despite his conviction, Burroughs has never stopped insisting that he is innocent.

The mystery takes a dramatic twist when his sister-in-law, Rachel, portrayed by Britt Lower, uncovers evidence suggesting that the child believed to have died may, in fact, still be alive.

Driven by the shocking revelation, Burroughs embarks on a desperate mission to uncover the truth. His search for answers forces him to escape from prison and navigate a dangerous web of secrets, deception and unexpected discoveries in a race to find his son.

The series marks another successful chapter in Harlan Coben's long-standing partnership with Netflix. Under the agreement, the streaming service has now adapted 13 of the author's bestselling novels into television productions, while another fan-favourite title, Myron Bolitar, is currently in development.

The strong debut also continues Coben's remarkable track record on Netflix. His previous adaptation, Run Away, remained in the platform's global Top 10 rankings for four consecutive weeks, accumulating 38 million views during its run.

On this week's English-language television chart, I Will Find You comfortably secured the top spot ahead of Outlast: The Jungle, Sweet Magnolias and America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Elsewhere on the chart, Tina Fey's comedy-drama The Four Seasons extended its impressive run by remaining in Netflix's global Top 10 for a fourth straight week, adding another 1.6 million views to its overall total.

In the non-English-language category, Teach You a Lesson led the rankings with 11.8 million views in its third week on the platform, while The Polygamist followed in second place after attracting 7.7 million views during its second week.

The latest success reinforces the enduring global appeal of Harlan Coben's suspense-filled storytelling and highlights Netflix's continued ability to turn bestselling novels into streaming hits that resonate with audiences worldwide.
