The House of Ajebo has officially announced the 13th edition of its popular comedy and entertainment showcase, Ajebo Unleashed, promising an evening packed with humour, storytelling, and emotional relatability.

Scheduled to hold on June 28, 2026, the event will take place at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, bringing together fans of stand-up comedy, satire, and live entertainment under this year’s theme, “Love and Laughs.”

Hosted by comedian and storyteller Emeka Erem, popularly known as Ajebo, the upcoming edition is set to explore the emotional rollercoaster that surrounds love—ranging from joy and excitement to heartbreak, confusion, and the often humorous aftermath of romantic experiences.

Backed by sponsors including Vitel Wireless and Landmark Corporate Realty Limited, the show is being positioned as a premium entertainment experience designed to connect audiences through shared human experiences, delivered through comedy and storytelling.

According to Ajebo, the concept behind this year’s theme is rooted in a universal truth about relationships and human connection. He explained that love remains one of the most relatable experiences across cultures, regardless of how it unfolds.

“Love is one of the few things that every human being can relate to. We’ve all experienced the excitement, the confusion, the disappointment, the hope and sometimes the madness that comes with it. Many of the experiences we cry about today eventually become the stories we laugh about tomorrow. That’s the heart of ‘Love and Laughs’.”

He further emphasized that the show will go beyond entertainment, describing it as a deeply personal performance that reflects real-life experiences and observations.

“This show is personal. I’ll be sharing some of my own experiences, observations and encounters, but in a way that allows people to see themselves through my lens. At the end of the day, love connects us, and laughter heals us. When you combine both, you create an experience that everyone can identify with,” he said.

This year’s edition is also expected to feature a lineup of prominent comedians and entertainers including Kenny Blaq, Chuks DGeneral, Josh2funny, Abarie.com, Edo Pikin, and several other guest performers, all set to bring different shades of humour to the stage.

With its blend of comedy, storytelling, and emotional reflection, Ajebo Unleashed 13 aims to deliver not just laughter, but a shared cultural experience that resonates long after the curtains close.
