Nigeria’s longest-running entrepreneurial reality television show, Betano – The Next Titan Nigeria, has announced the commencement of preparations for its 11th season, with organisers promising a bigger platform, tougher challenges and greater opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The new season was unveiled during the Pre-Season Brunch and Official Press Conference held in Lagos, where organisers revealed that the winner would receive a ₦50 million grand prize to support the launch or expansion of a business venture.

Season 11 is being produced in partnership with Betano as the title sponsor, reinforcing the brand’s focus on youth empowerment, innovation and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, Executive Producer of Betano – The Next Titan Nigeria and Chief Executive Officer of Bravopoints International Limited, Mide Akinlaja, said the show remains committed to discovering and nurturing young Nigerians with entrepreneurial potential.

“Today marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in our journey to igniting the entrepreneurial spirit of young Nigerians,” he said.

“Our vision is simple but bold: to create a platform where young Nigerians with passion, creativity and determination could be discovered, challenged, mentored and empowered.”

Akinlaja described the upcoming season, themed ‘Be The Relentless’, as the biggest edition of the competition so far, featuring a 10-week entrepreneurial challenge designed to test contestants’ creativity, leadership skills and business abilities.

The show will air on major television stations across Nigeria and will feature real-life business challenges, strategic decision-making exercises, mentorship sessions with leading entrepreneurs and weekly eliminations.

Auditions for Season 11 will begin in August across four major cities — Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Enugu. Interested participants nationwide will also have the opportunity to audition online.

Successful contestants will proceed to a three-day Top 50 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, where they will undergo intensive training in business development, leadership and practical problem-solving. Following the bootcamp, 20 finalists will be selected to participate in the grand opening ceremony and move into the Betano – Titan House for the main 10-week competition.

Throughout the competition, contestants will face business-focused tasks covering areas such as sales, marketing, promotions, innovation and boardroom assessments before one entrepreneur emerges as the Season 11 champion.

The winner will receive the ₦50 million grand prize aimed at helping to build, grow or scale their business.

Akinlaja stressed the role of entrepreneurship in addressing economic challenges and creating opportunities for young Nigerians.

“At a time when our nation seeks sustainable solutions to unemployment and economic growth, entrepreneurship remains one of the greatest pathways to national development; not simply to entertain but to inspire, educate, empower and to create the next set of business leaders for tomorrow,” he said.

Also speaking at the event, Senior Business Development Advisor for Betano in Africa, Daniel Lamberti, said the company’s continued support for the programme reflects its commitment to Nigeria and its belief in partnerships that create meaningful social and economic impact.

He said sponsoring another season of Betano – The Next Titan Nigeria aligns with the company’s focus on innovation and community development in markets where Betano, a premium online sports betting and gaming brand under Kaizen Gaming, operates.

The event featured two fireside chats involving industry leaders, past contestants and successful participants from previous editions of the show.

Those present included Dapo Oshuntoye, Category Manager at Cadbury Nigeria Plc; Ola Olabanji, Public Relations Manager at Arik Air; Abidemi Alfred of Veritasi Homes; Nsude Okechukwu Calistus, Technical Sales Engineer at Nigerite Limited; and Jude Odum, Chief Operating Officer of GIG Mobility.

The fireside sessions featured discussions with Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi-Nze, Lamberti and Odum, alongside previous winners and first runners-up, who shared their experiences and highlighted how the competition contributed to their entrepreneurial journeys.

Now in its 11th season, Betano – The Next Titan Nigeria has become one of Nigeria’s most recognised platforms for discovering and developing young entrepreneurs. The programme has produced winners and participants who have gone on to establish businesses across different sectors, create employment opportunities and build sustainable enterprises.
