The countdown to another thrilling edition of Big Brother Naija has officially begun, with MultiChoice Nigeria announcing that Season 11 will feature the biggest grand prize in the reality show's history.
The winner of this year's edition will take home a prize worth N160 million, comprising N100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, making it the most lucrative reward ever offered since the show's return in 2017.
Announcing the new season, MultiChoice Nigeria, a Canal+ company, said viewers can expect higher stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will deliver another unforgettable season of entertainment.
Speaking on the development, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head, Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice, highlighted the show's lasting impact on the African entertainment landscape.
“Big Brother Naija has consistently redefined entertainment in Africa by bringing together authentic storytelling, compelling personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers. Season 11 builds on that legacy with even bigger stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will keep audiences engaged from premiere night through to the finale.”
The new season will also welcome a new headline sponsor, betPawa, which joins the Big Brother Naija family as the show's lead brand partner.
Since making its comeback in 2017, Big Brother Naija has grown beyond a reality television competition into one of Africa's biggest entertainment brands. Over the years, the show has produced numerous celebrities, created employment opportunities across Nigeria's creative industry and significantly influenced youth culture, fashion, music and social media conversations.
Returning to anchor the show is longtime host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, whose presence has become synonymous with the franchise. Fans can look forward to another season packed with dramatic twists, competitive tasks, strategic gameplay, entertaining challenges and the unscripted moments that have made Big Brother Naija one of the continent's most-watched reality TV franchises.
Season 11 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with fans able to follow the 24-hour reality show on DStv, GOtv, DStv Stream and GOtv Stream throughout the season.
