Controversial Nigerian relationship influencer and self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has regained her freedom after a Lagos State Special Offences Court granted her a N20 million bail in the ongoing property fraud case involving N69.15 million.
The bail ruling, delivered on Thursday, came about six weeks after she was remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre following her arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The court, presided over by Justice Rahman Oshodi, granted Blessing CEO bail with two sureties in like sum. Each surety was also ordered to provide a three-year proof of deposits valued at N20 million as part of the conditions attached to her release.
The judge further directed the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) to ensure that her travel restrictions remain in place until the conclusion of the trial.
The case against Blessing CEO stems from allegations by the EFCC that she fraudulently obtained N69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in March 2025. According to the anti-graft agency, the money was allegedly obtained under the pretext of securing a lease for a property located in the Lekki area of Lagos.
The EFCC had, on June 9, 2026, arraigned her on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretences and stealing. She, however, pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
During the bail proceedings, the court considered the circumstances of the case and granted her temporary release while allowing the trial process to continue.
Following the ruling, the court adjourned the matter until October 12, 2026, for continuation of trial.
Blessing CEO’s legal team is expected to continue defending her against the allegations as the court determines the merits of the charges brought by the EFCC.
