Unitholders of the Coronation Infrastructure Fund are set to receive a semi-annual income distribution of N8.985 per unit for the first half of the 2026 financial year, following an official announcement by Coronation Asset Management Limited, the fund manager.

The declaration was contained in a corporate action notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Thursday, outlining the timeline and procedures for the proposed payment to eligible investors.

According to the notice, the closed-end debt fund’s distribution period will run up to 30 June 2026, in line with the provisions of Section 25 of the Programme Trust Deed governing the fund. The qualification date for investors entitled to receive the payment has been fixed for 22 July 2026.

The company stated that the Register of Members would be closed on 23 July 2026 to allow the registrar to complete the necessary reconciliation and payment arrangements ahead of the electronic distribution date scheduled for Tuesday, 28 July 2026.

The distribution will be paid electronically to qualified unitholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at the close of business on the qualification date. However, the payment remains subject to applicable withholding tax deductions and the completion of the mandatory e-mandate activation process.

Coronation Asset Management advised investors who have not completed their e-mandate registration to take the necessary steps to avoid delays in receiving their payments.

The fund manager urged affected unitholders to download the e-mandate activation form from the Coronation Registrars website and submit the completed document either to the registrar’s office in Victoria Island or through the designated email channel.

The announcement was signed by the Managing Director of Coronation Asset Management Limited, Aigbovbioise Aig-Imoukhuede, on behalf of the Coronation Infrastructure Fund.

The company, which is registered and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria, manages the infrastructure-focused investment vehicle with the objective of channeling long-term domestic capital into key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

The latest payout reflects the fund’s continued focus on providing investors with income returns supported by the operational performance of its underlying infrastructure assets.

Market observers noted that infrastructure-focused investment products remain important in supporting capital mobilisation for critical projects while offering investors opportunities to participate in long-term asset-backed income generation. The H1 2026 distribution further reinforces the fund’s role in Nigeria’s evolving investment landscape.
