Several top European football clubs have taken to social media to celebrate their players after Spain edged Argentina 1-0 to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Sunday.

La Roja secured their world title courtesy of a decisive strike from Ferran Torres, whose goal proved enough to seal victory over the defending champions in a tightly contested final.

Following the historic triumph, clubs across Europe whose players featured for Spain congratulated their stars with heartfelt messages highlighting their contributions throughout the tournament.

Athletic Club, home to Spanish internationals Unai Simón, Aymeric Laporte and Nico Williams, praised both the players and national team coach Luis de la Fuente.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain paid tribute to midfielder Fabián Ruiz, posting:
