The Ikon Allah Boys secured the services of the shot stopper from fellow Nigerian Professional Football League side Ikorodu City, with Julu putting pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Minna-based club.
Julu arrives at Tornadoes as a replacement for Ifeanyi Nchekwube, who recently departed the club to join Rivers United.
The Liberian goalkeeper spent last season with Ikorodu City but struggled to establish himself as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper, failing to secure a regular starting position.
However, the move to Niger Tornadoes presents Julu with an opportunity to revive his career and compete for consistent playing time. The goalkeeper will be hoping to become a key figure for the club as they prepare for the challenges of the upcoming campaign.
Tornadoes will be counting on his experience and international pedigree to provide stability between the posts as they aim for a successful season.
