A Nigerian mobility and travel services company, Ride With Me Logistics, is seeking to transform the country’s tourism, entertainment, corporate travel and events sectors by addressing persistent transportation challenges through a more coordinated service approach.

The company’s founder, Samuel Isong, said reliable mobility remains a major requirement for unlocking Nigeria’s tourism and business potential, noting that poor transportation systems have continued to affect events, travel experiences and professional engagements.

Isong explained that the idea behind Ride With Me Logistics was developed from years of firsthand experience in the entertainment industry, where transportation failures frequently disrupted schedules and affected the delivery of major projects.

“Ride With Me was born from experience,” Isong said, recalling how unreliable logistics repeatedly created challenges for artists, executives and event organisers.

“For years, I watched artists miss sound checks because transportation fell through. I saw executives struggle to coordinate airport pickups, tourists unsure who to trust, and event organisers managing five or six different vendors just to move people from one place to another,” he said.

According to him, those experiences exposed a wider issue affecting Nigeria’s travel and logistics ecosystem.

“The common problem wasn’t a lack of talent or opportunity—it was the lack of a reliable system,” he noted.

Isong said efficient transportation is a key factor in delivering successful tourism experiences, business engagements and entertainment events, stressing that movement connects people to opportunities and experiences.

“We realised that movement is what connects every great experience. Before the concert begins, before the holiday starts, before the business meeting happens, someone has to get there safely, comfortably, and on time,” he said.

“That was the inspiration behind Ride With Me. We’re not simply helping people move from point A to B. We’re helping experiences happen.”

Creating a Unified Travel Experience

To address gaps in the sector, Ride With Me Logistics has expanded its operations beyond transportation services to include tourism solutions, flight bookings, tours and travel arrangements, as well as concert and event logistics.

Isong said the company’s integrated model was developed around the understanding that customers want convenience rather than having to coordinate multiple providers for different parts of their journey.

“When you look at travel from the customer’s perspective, they don’t think in separate industries. They don’t wake up and say, ‘Today I need transport, tomorrow I need a tour operator, next week I need an event logistics company.’ They simply want a seamless experience,” he said.

He identified fragmentation within the travel and logistics industry as one of the biggest challenges affecting customers.

“The problem is that the industry has been fragmented for too long. Customers spend valuable time comparing vendors, making endless phone calls, worrying about reliability, and hoping everyone delivers,” he said.

Through its all-in-one “360 Package”, Isong said the company aims to reduce uncertainty for travellers, businesses and event organisers by providing coordinated services under one platform.

“The biggest challenge isn’t transportation. It’s uncertainty,” he said.

“People worry about whether the driver will arrive; whether airport pickups will be on time; whether guests will get lost; whether VIPs will be treated professionally. Whether multiple suppliers will actually communicate with one another.”

He added that these challenges, although they may appear minor, often result in significant operational and financial consequences.

“These small problems quickly become expensive problems,” he said, explaining that the company’s model was designed to remove the stress of managing multiple service providers.

Expanding Across Nigeria

Isong described the company’s expansion from a local operation into a multi-city transport network as a demanding process, particularly in maintaining consistent service standards across different locations.

“Growing from a local setup into a multi-city transport network across Nigeria was a massive battle,” he said.

“The team had to deal with tough interstate roads, unforeseen delays, and the stress of keeping the exact same high standard across 25+ states. There were days the road tested everything we had.”

Despite these challenges, he said the company remains focused on building a dependable mobility system capable of supporting Nigeria’s growing travel and events industries.

Building Africa’s Travel Infrastructure

Looking ahead, Isong said Ride With Me Logistics aims to become more than a transportation provider by serving as a key support system for tourism, entertainment, corporate travel and large-scale events across Africa.

“Our vision goes beyond moving people. We want to become the infrastructure that powers tourism, entertainment, corporate travel, and major events across Africa,” he said.

“We’re not just building a transportation company. We’re building confidence in every journey and creating a platform that helps Nigeria move forward—one arrival at a time.”

He added that the company’s long-term goal is to create a reliable travel ecosystem where individuals and organisations can move with greater confidence, convenience and peace of mind.
