The Scar Radio celebrated six years of broadcasting and supporting emerging creative talents with the inaugural edition of its music and nightlife event, Electrolytes, held at The Spice Route, Lagos, last Saturday.

The anniversary celebration, organised in partnership with Jägermeister, brought together music enthusiasts, nightlife lovers, entertainers and members of the creative community for an evening dedicated to music, culture and entertainment.

Among the notable personalities who attended the event were singer W4 and comedian-turned-musician Nasboi, who joined other guests in celebrating the milestone achieved by the online radio platform.

The night featured performances and sets from a diverse lineup of disc jockeys, including DJ Bellami, DJ SKB, DJ Valentino, Big Riki, DJ Instinct, DJ Spizzy, DJ OTB, DJ Xnel, Yanfssss, ReBellyus, Busyi and Ephraim, popularly known as the Talking Drummer.

Hypemen Holyfaze and Toby Shang added to the energy of the celebration, keeping guests entertained as the event progressed. The atmosphere was further amplified by a mix of Afrobeats, Amapiano, House music and other contemporary sounds, with attendees staying on the dance floor well into the early hours of Sunday.

A major highlight of the celebration was the cutting of a commemorative anniversary cake, as the organisers, guests and partners came together to mark The Scar Radio’s six-year journey.

According to the organisers, the event was not only a celebration of longevity but also a moment to reflect on the platform’s growth and its role in promoting music, creativity and upcoming talents within the entertainment industry.
