Nigerian content creator and influencer, Tunde Perry, has expressed concern over the alleged continued detention of fellow influencer Peller by the police, following days of silence from the popular online personality.
Perry raised the alarm during a TikTok live session, amid growing speculation from fans and followers over Peller’s absence from social media platforms.
According to him, Peller was arrested on Friday while returning home from a content shoot in the Lekki area of Lagos. He claimed the arrest was linked to issues surrounding the vehicle Peller was driving, including the use of a tinted car and the absence of a number plate.
Providing an update on Peller’s situation, Tunde Perry said the content creator had remained in police custody since his arrest.
“Peller has been in police station since Friday. He is still there till now. That is why he has not been online.
“The incident happened in Lekki, but it has now been transferred to Ikeja,” Perry stated.
The development comes amid reports that Peller was allegedly approached by area boys who demanded N250,000 from him at the location where he was filming shortly before his arrest.
According to reports, the incident occurred shortly after the encounter, although details surrounding the circumstances of the arrest and the ongoing police process remain unclear.
Checks on Peller’s social media accounts showed that his last post was made on Friday, further fueling concerns among his followers about his whereabouts.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the police authorities regarding the alleged detention or the circumstances surrounding Peller’s arrest.
