Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has urged TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis to reconsider their decision to get married, arguing that the pair are still too young to take such a significant step.
His comments come after the popular content creators recently announced that they would tie the knot on August 1, 2026, a revelation that generated excitement among fans and sparked widespread conversations across social media.
BrandIconImage recalls that the announcement was met with mixed reactions, with many congratulating the couple while others questioned whether they were ready for marriage at this stage of their lives.
Reacting in a video shared on his social media page, VeryDarkMan cautioned the couple against rushing into marriage, stressing that the commitment requires careful thought and should not be treated like entertainment or social media content.
According to him, marriage demands maturity, preparation and a clear understanding of the responsibilities that come with it.
Addressing the couple directly, he said:
“Jarvis and Peller, I hope you actually know what you guys are doing because marriage is not a joke or a content creation. You really need to think about this.
“Peller, you are still a very young boy that needs to be in school not in marriage. Think very well.”
The social media personality particularly advised Peller to focus on his education before taking on the responsibilities of married life, insisting that there is still ample time to settle down in the future.
VeryDarkMan's remarks have since generated reactions online, with social media users expressing differing opinions. While some agreed that the couple should take more time before getting married, others argued that age alone should not determine a person's readiness for marriage, pointing instead to emotional maturity and personal circumstances.
Neither Peller nor Jarvis has publicly responded to VeryDarkMan's comments as discussions surrounding their planned wedding continue to trend on social media.
