Nigerian comedienne and actress Anita Alaire Asuoha, known by her stage name Warri Pikin has responded sharply to a social media user who made an unkind remark about the appearance of her children, turning what began as a lighthearted TikTok trend into a heated exchange.
The entertainer recently participated in the trending "I Sabi Cook" challenge on TikTok, using the viral concept to proudly showcase her family. Rather than focusing on food, Warri Pikin playfully referred to her children as the result of her "cooking," sharing a heartwarming video featuring her four children alongside her housemaid.
Accompanying the clip, she confidently declared that she is more than capable in the kitchen, writing:
“I no sabi cook keh?
Seasoned chef.”
The video attracted plenty of reactions from fans, many of whom admired her beautiful family. However, one commenter chose to make a disparaging remark, suggesting that while the actress had made an effort, the outcome was unimpressive.
The troll wrote:
“U try, but the food no done”.
Warri Pikin wasted no time responding to the criticism. In a blunt clapback, she mocked the troll's appearance and the quality of his camera, replying:
Her response quickly drew attention, with many social media users defending the actress and criticizing the troll for making insensitive comments about children.“As you worwor with your POS camera”.
The exchange adds to a growing list of celebrities speaking out against online bullying and criticism directed at their families. Recently, actress Yetunde Barnabas also confronted critics after she was dragged for putting her three-year-old daughter in a stroller. The actress expressed disappointment over the backlash, insisting she would not tolerate anyone attacking her parenting choices.
Warri Pikin has consistently shared moments from her family life with her followers. Earlier this year, she posted a touching video of her family dressed in matching traditional outfits as they dedicated their four-month-old daughter to God.
In 2025, the actress also celebrated the matriculation of her adopted daughter, sharing a video from the ceremony and expressing pride in the young woman's achievements. She described her as a smart, beautiful, and driven young lady while offering heartfelt prayers for her future.
On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, Warri Pikin also opened up about motherhood, revealing that she once prayed not to have daughters because she believed raising girls would be difficult. Reflecting on her own experiences growing up, she admitted her fears before explaining that God eventually blessed her with two daughters. She said the experience has changed her perspective completely and that she could not be prouder of the girls she is raising.
