Danielle Edochie, daughter of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has expressed her disapproval of women who choose to date or marry internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo boys.

In a video shared on her social media page, Danielle said some women are drawn to such relationships mainly because of the financial benefits associated with proceeds from cyber fraud.

While admitting that she appreciates money, the young actress stated that financial gain would not influence her decision to be romantically involved with someone engaged in fraudulent activities.

Danielle questioned why anyone would willingly commit their personal values and future to a person whose wealth comes from deceiving others.

She also advised internet fraudsters against approaching her for romantic relationships, insisting that she does not support or admire such lifestyles.

“I will never romanticise the idea of being a partner of someone who defrauds people whether physically or online. It’s shocking everytime someone asked whether I’m into fraud boys. I don’t understand why I should carry my whole essence and give to someone who steals.”

She added that while some women may be attracted to the wealth displayed by internet fraudsters, she does not share that perspective.

“A lot of ladies may be attracted to the huge amount of money those guys make, but not me. I love money too, but please, just stay far away from me,” she stated.

Danielle’s comments have generated discussions online about relationships, personal values and the influence of financial status on romantic choices among young people.
