A simple act of care appears to be changing the dynamics between Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates Chimsom Chuka and Bluethopia, with Chimsom admitting that he may be developing stronger feelings for his female colleague.
Chimsom made the disclosure during a private conversation with fellow housemate Kamsy on Thursday night, revealing that Bluethopia had gone as far as washing his underwear.
According to him, the gesture caught him off guard because he had already separated the clothes he intended to wash himself. He said he was surprised when he later noticed Bluethopia spreading the underwear after washing it.
“I had separated my boxers because there was one I had not washed and before you know it, I saw this girl spreading my boxers. I was shocked she washed my boxers,” he said.
The housemate explained that Bluethopia’s willingness to go out of her way to care for him had made him reconsider his earlier position on their relationship. He suggested that her actions were beginning to influence how he viewed her romantically.
“I think I am starting to like this girl back,” Chimsom said.
Kamsy, who was listening to his account, encouraged him to reciprocate Bluethopia’s feelings.
“You should like her back,” she told him.
The emerging relationship comes after a series of conversations about Chimsom’s romantic interest in Bluethopia and the kind of man she prefers.
Chimsom had previously shown interest in Bluethopia, but their connection appeared uncertain after Kamsy maintained that she preferred submissive men to dominant personalities like Chimsom.
Bluethopia had also expressed reservations about Chimsom’s approach to their interactions, particularly his tendency to steer their conversations towards sexual topics. She reportedly complained that he rarely engaged her in meaningful conversations, making it difficult for her to connect with him on a deeper level.
However, Chimsom’s latest comments suggest that the relationship may be taking a different turn as he begins to recognise Bluethopia’s acts of care and affection.
Whether the pair will eventually pursue a relationship remains to be seen, but Chimsom’s admission has added another layer to the evolving alliances and romantic interests inside the BBNaija house.
