The images showed Elliot and Chatta together during a film production, appearing to engage in conversation while on set. Elliot, who became one of Nigeria’s recognisable faces in Nollywood before venturing into politics, has spent recent years representing his constituency as a lawmaker in Lagos State.
The actor-turned-politician recently failed to secure the APC ticket for Surulere Constituency I ahead of the 2027 elections after losing the party’s primary election to Barakat Odunuga-Bakare.
Odunuga-Bakare emerged victorious in the contest after securing an overwhelming majority of votes, ending Elliot’s attempt to continue his representation of the constituency under the APC platform.
