Eneje made the announcement on Friday through a series of photographs posted on her Instagram page, where she captioned the images simply, “my forever.”
The carefully staged proposal took place at an outdoor venue transformed into an intimate celebration of love. At the centre of the setting was a large illuminated display bearing the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME”, providing a striking backdrop as Godwin popped the question.
The romantic scene was decorated with white flowers and tall glass candles, creating an elegant atmosphere around the couple. Colourful smoke effects also filled the sky as the proposal unfolded, adding a dramatic touch to the celebration.
A separate inscription on the platform where the couple stood read, “Forever starts here!”
The announcement quickly placed the spotlight on Eneje, who has been a prominent figure in Nigeria’s fashion and digital-content space since her teenage years.
At 24, Eneje has already built a career spanning modelling, fashion, beauty and lifestyle content. She first rose to prominence as a teenage model before gaining broader public recognition after appearing in Nigerian singer Rema’s 2019 hit music video, Dumebi.
Her influence has also extended beyond social media. Over the years, she has collaborated with several Nigerian and international brands, establishing herself as a sought-after figure for fashion and lifestyle campaigns.
In 2019, Eneje further expanded her entrepreneurial portfolio by founding her beauty brand, The Shine Cartel.
