The Parton household was large, close-knit and deeply influenced by music, faith and family. While Dolly went on to build a career that made her a global superstar, her brothers and sisters followed very different paths. 2. David Parton
David Parton, born in 1942, largely stayed out of the spotlight despite being the older brother of one of America's biggest music stars.
He lived privately in Eastern Tennessee and spent much of his working life in the construction industry.
David died in 2024. His death was confirmed publicly by his sister Stella.

Known within the family as Bobby, he has largely avoided the public spotlight.

5. Stella Parton
