Adjusted net income rose 38.4 per cent to $218.6 million in the second quarter of 2026, compared with $158 million in the same period last year, according to financial results released on Monday, August 10.
Revenue climbed 23 per cent year-on-year to $2.2 billion, marking Embraer’s highest-ever revenue for a second quarter.
The company said adjusted free cash flow, excluding Eve, reached $401 million during the three-month period. It attributed the result to “stronger operating performance, strong sales-related pre-downpayment inflows, and an extraordinary tax credit”.
Embraer said the tax credit, exemption from tariffs and an improved business outlook had strengthened its expectations for the year, prompting an upward revision of its 2026 financial guidance.
“Embraer now expects to close 2026 with an adjusted EBIT margin between 10 per cent and 10.6 per cent (up from between 8.7 per cent and 9.3 per cent) and adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve of US$400m or higher (up from US$200m or higher),” the company said in a statement.
The manufacturer’s firm order backlog also reached a record $34.5 billion, representing a 16 per cent increase from the second quarter of 2025.
Embraer delivered 65 aircraft during the quarter, up 17 per cent from the same period last year. The company described the figure as its “strongest second-quarter performance over the past 16 years.”
The deliveries comprised 20 commercial aircraft and 45 executive jets, while the Defence and Security division recorded no aircraft deliveries during the period.
Embraer maintained its 2026 delivery targets of 80 to 85 commercial aircraft and 160 to 170 executive jets.
Its executive aviation division posted $725 million in revenue for the quarter, a 32 per cent increase from the corresponding period of 2025. The company said the growth was “benefiting from higher volumes and product mix.”
Revenue from the Defence & Security business also increased, rising 38 per cent year-on-year to $304 million.
Embraer said the growth was “driven by stronger KC-390 Millennium revenue recognition related to customer mix and product stage.”
