Part of SEK 15 billion buyback plan
The latest purchases form part of Ericsson’s broader share buyback program, which allows the company to repurchase shares for up to SEK 15 billion. Ericsson announced the program on April 16, 2026, and began executing it on April 23. The program is scheduled to run until March 31, 2027, at the latest.
The company’s Board of Directors intends to propose at the 2027 Annual General Meeting that the repurchased shares be cancelled, except for shares required to meet Ericsson’s obligations under its share-related incentive programs.
The buyback is being conducted in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 on market abuse, commonly known as the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), as well as the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052, which supplements MAR under the Safe Harbour framework.
