Nigerian TikTok streamer, Peller, has expressed his displeasure with his parents after they attended his wedding ceremony with their respective partners.

The social media personality tied the knot with his partner, Jarvis, in a white wedding ceremony held over the weekend, attracting family members, friends and well-wishers.

However, the presence of his separated parents alongside their respective partners appears to have left Peller frustrated.

According to the streamer, he had earlier instructed his parents to keep their guest lists limited to avoid turning the ceremony into a large social gathering. He was, therefore, unhappy when both parents arrived with their partners.

In a video shared on Wednesday, Peller disclosed that he confronted his parents over the development, accusing them of disregarding his earlier request and turning what was supposed to be his wedding ceremony into a party.

He said, “I’m tired, I’m tired of all these things. I changed it for them oo, no be small.

“Because I told them to invite just a few people, but my mummy dey carry her own boyfriend come, my daddy carry his own girlfriend come.

“All of them just turned my wedding to party. Polygamy is very hard, I’m from a polygamous family”, he said. (sic)

Peller’s comments have since drawn attention online, particularly because they offer a glimpse into the family dynamics surrounding the streamer’s much-publicised wedding.

The TikTok personality has previously spoken about his family and personal experiences, and his latest remarks appear to highlight the challenges that can arise when separated parents and their new partners are brought together at major family occasions.

Despite his frustration, the attendance of both parents meant that they were present to witness an important milestone in their son’s life, albeit in circumstances that Peller clearly found overwhelming.

His remarks also sparked discussions among social media users about the complexities that can accompany family gatherings where parents are separated or have moved on with new relationships.
