Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has hinted that she will give her side of the story after she was reportedly denied entry into the thanksgiving ceremony held for actors Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe’s triplets in Lagos.
The ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, attracted several personalities from the entertainment industry, alongside friends, associates and family members of the couple.
However, the event reportedly operated under strict access restrictions, with only invited guests allowed into the venue.
According to an announcement by the couple’s event planner, Omobolale Gold, attendees were required to have an access card or wear the designated Aso Ebi to gain entry.
Guests without either of the specified forms of identification were reportedly prevented from entering the venue by security personnel.
Regina Chukwu, despite being a familiar face in Nollywood, was among those reportedly stopped at the entrance.
A video showing the actress at the venue subsequently surfaced online, sparking reactions from social media users and prompting questions about what transpired between the actress and security personnel.
Rather than immediately explaining the incident, Regina appeared to indicate that she would address the matter herself.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the actress acknowledged the incident and promised to tell her followers what happened.
“I am coming with a story time on what happened yesterday but first lets appreciate my glam team and their dedication,” she wrote.
Regina then shifted attention to her appearance at the event, praising her glam team for their work.
“You can say anything but y’all will admit I look really good yesterday. My glam didn’t come to play,” she added.
Her comments have since heightened anticipation among her followers, many of whom are waiting for the actress to explain why she was reportedly stopped at the entrance despite attending the high-profile ceremony.
The incident has also generated discussion online about the strict access arrangements at celebrity events, particularly where organisers require guests to present specific invitations or adhere to designated dress codes.
Regina has yet to publicly provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident beyond her promise to share a “story time.”
