The Samsung HiFi S99H, known as the S95H in the US, will make its debut at IFA 2026 in Berlin, with prices starting at $7,999 — roughly £5,905 or AU$11,165.
The premium television is designed to combine high-end picture quality, powerful audio and furniture-style design in a single system, targeting consumers who want a sophisticated home cinema without compromising their interior décor.
Samsung's flagship S99H OLED has already attracted attention for its picture performance, although its design has proved more controversial.
The television features a new silver frame known as the FloatLayer Design, while the central pedestal stand found on its predecessor has been replaced by two plastic feet. The wider frame is primarily intended for wall-mounted installations but could create space constraints in some rooms.
The new HiFi version takes a different approach by integrating a Canvas soundbar into the television's overall design.
Up to 1,500 Watts of Audio Power
The Samsung HiFi S99H will be offered in 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 83-inch sizes.
Buyers will be able to choose between two Canvas soundbar configurations: the standard Canvas model or the larger and more powerful Canvas L.
The standard system delivers 1,000 watts of Class D amplification, while the Canvas L increases the output to 1,500 watts.
Those power levels put the television firmly into premium home-audio territory, with enough output to deliver a powerful cinematic experience in a suitably sized room.
Canvas markets its product as the world's first audiophile soundbar, a claim that may be contested by competitors, but its systems have attracted praise for their audio performance.
The partnership gives Samsung a way to address one of the perennial compromises in premium televisions: increasingly thin screens often leave little room for substantial speakers.
Stereo Sound With 3D Processing
Despite its high-end positioning, the sound system included with the HiFi S99H is not a conventional multichannel Dolby Atmos surround system.
The Canvas systems supplied with the television are stereo soundbars, although they use Baach's 3D sound processing technology to create a more immersive presentation.
Canvas has separately announced a full Dolby Atmos soundbar system, but that technology is not the configuration being offered with the initial HiFi S99H models.
Samsung says the objective goes beyond simply attaching a soundbar to a television.
“The ambition is to create a new category in which true HiFi, picture quality and furniture design are developed as one integrated solution — developed for consumers who do not want to choose between performance and interior design,” the company said.
Designed as a Furniture Piece
The HiFi S99H will come with either a fixed floor stand or a wall mount.
Customers will also have the option of purchasing a rotating floor stand, available in aluminium or black, adding another element of flexibility for rooms where the screen needs to be viewed from different positions.
The combination of the television, stand and sound system is intended to make the product resemble a high-end piece of furniture rather than a conventional TV-and-speaker setup.
Samsung will officially launch the HiFi S99H on September 4, 2026, during IFA in Berlin.
The television will subsequently be available through selected Canvas showrooms from October 2026, while the larger Canvas L configuration is expected to arrive later in the year.
At $7,999 before any additional options, however, the HiFi S99H is aimed squarely at the luxury end of the television market, where buyers are being asked to pay a premium for the combination of flagship OLED picture quality, audiophile sound and integrated interior design.
