Media personality Toke Makinwa has introduced her daughter, Yakira, to the public for the first time as the little girl marked her first birthday.
Sharing the milestone on her Instagram page, Makinwa reflected on how motherhood has transformed her life, describing the experience as deeply fulfilling and expressing gratitude for the journey over the past year.
The broadcaster said welcoming her daughter has given her a new perspective on life, adding that she feels blessed to have a healthy child and that the prayers she made throughout her pregnancy have been answered.
“Y’all need to chat with me differently now. I’m the mother of a one-year-old. I’m flying her to London for her birthday party,” she said.
