Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has sparked reactions after unveiling a noticeably refreshed facial appearance, revealing that she underwent a combination of non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
The 40-year-old actress made the disclosure in a recent social media post, where she opened up about her decision to use threads, fillers and PDO treatment to enhance her appearance.
Ogbodo explained that the procedures were intended to lift her face, restore lost facial volume and reduce the appearance of lines, while giving her a fresher and more youthful look without undergoing surgery.
“I got me a new face, because I can,” the actress said.
Providing further details about the treatment, she said, “I had Threads + Fillers + PDO done to lift, restore volume, smooth out lines and give me that fresh, youthful, well-rested look — without surgery.”
The actress also addressed the possible interpretation of her decision, stressing that choosing to alter aspects of her appearance does not mean she is dissatisfied with herself.
According to Ogbodo, she remains comfortable with who she is but believes individuals should have the freedom to make personal choices about their appearance.
Her disclosure adds to the growing conversation around non-surgical cosmetic procedures, which have gained increasing visibility among public figures and celebrities seeking facial enhancement without conventional surgery.
Ogbodo has previously been candid about different aspects of her personal life and appearance. Her latest revelation has once again placed her in the spotlight, while highlighting the increasing acceptance and popularity of aesthetic treatments among celebrities.
