Abuja Furniture Production (AFP), the furniture manufacturing arm of Julius Berger Nigeria Group, is set to showcase its range of innovative furniture products and interior solutions at the 2026 edition of Made By Design Nigeria, scheduled to hold in Lagos from October 22 to 25.
The company said its participation in the four-day exhibition would provide an opportunity to unveil its latest designs, strengthen its market presence and establish strategic partnerships with professionals and businesses across Nigeria’s design and built environment sectors.
According to a statement issued by AFP, the exhibition, which will take place at the National Theatre, Lagos, is expected to bring together designers, architects, interior decorators, furniture enthusiasts and other industry stakeholders, creating opportunities for networking, product displays and business development.
The company noted that its participation would be geared towards expanding its customer base, engaging prospective clients and exploring collaborations capable of generating new business opportunities.
Among the products AFP plans to display at the exhibition are its height-adjustable table, privacy glass, mobile drawers, waiting-area sofas, French doors, fire-rated doors and bullet-obstructive doors. Other featured products include the Yorkshire sofa, Chesterfield sofa and classic boiserie wall panels, alongside additional furniture and interior design solutions.
“Among its top-notch products set for display at the expo are the iconic height adjustable table, the privacy glass, mobile drawers, waiting area sofas, French doors, fire rated doors, bullet obstructive doors, Yorkshire sofa, chesterfield sofa, boiserie classic wall panels, and many more,” the statement said.
Beyond showcasing its existing product range, AFP said it would introduce new designs at this year’s event, reflecting its commitment to evolving design concepts and responding to changing market preferences.
The company added that the exhibition would serve as a platform to engage directly with prospective customers and industry professionals, gain insights into emerging trends and identify areas for mutually beneficial collaboration.
AFP also reiterated its readiness to establish new business relationships and partnerships that could translate into sustainable commercial opportunities, further strengthening its position in Nigeria’s furniture and interior design market.
The company’s participation builds on its longstanding relationship with the annual exhibition. According to the statement, AFP has participated in at least seven editions of Made By Design Week since 2017, although it was absent from the 2020 and 2025 editions.
“Since 2017, the company has participated in no fewer than seven editions of the annual MADE BY DESIGN Week. It was unavoidably absent from the 2020 and 2025 versions, but remains keen on establishing a consistent presence as usual at this year’s event,” the statement reads.
Over the years, AFP’s exhibition stand has attracted visitors from diverse professional backgrounds, including wood technologists, students, architects, interior decorators, business owners and other industry practitioners interested in the company’s products, manufacturing capabilities and design offerings.
Its return to the event this year is expected to provide another opportunity to deepen engagement with these audiences while demonstrating its range of furniture products and specialised interior solutions.
With the 2026 edition approaching, AFP’s participation underscores the importance of industry exhibitions as platforms for showcasing innovation, fostering professional relationships and creating commercial opportunities within Nigeria’s growing design and built environment sectors.
