Buyback Programme Runs Through March 2027
Ericsson announced the share repurchase programme on April 16, 2026, with a maximum allocation of SEK 15 billion. The programme commenced on April 23, 2026, and is expected to continue until March 31, 2027, at the latest.
The company said its Board of Directors intends to propose at the 2027 Annual General Meeting that the repurchased shares be cancelled, except for shares required to meet Ericsson’s obligations under its share-related incentive programmes.
The cancellation proposal would allow the company to retire eligible repurchased shares, while retaining those needed for employee and other share-based incentive arrangements.
