Nigerian technology company earns regional and national recognition as it steps up plans to expand into enterprise solutions and managed IT services
Maxitech Global Investment Ltd. has strengthened its position in Nigeria’s technology distribution market after winning two awards at the 2026 HP Channel Partner Awards in Barcelona, Spain, securing recognition at both national and West African levels.
The company was named HP West Africa Retailer of the Year 2025 and HP Nigeria Retail PC Partner of the Year 2025, marking its second consecutive year of recognition by the global technology manufacturer.
The latest honours build on Maxitech Global’s 2024 achievement as HP Nigeria Retail PC Partner of the Year, extending its recognition from the Nigerian market to the wider West African region.
For the company, the awards represent more than an industry accolade, reflecting its performance, customer relationships and ambition to expand beyond conventional technology distribution into a broader range of IT solutions and services.
Speaking on the achievement, Managing Director of Maxitech Global Investment Ltd., Oluwaseun Akinwale, described the recognition as a significant milestone for the company, attributing it to the dedication of its workforce and the continued confidence of its customers.
“Winning these awards for the second consecutive year is a tremendous honour for Maxitech Global. Moving from national recognition to recognition across West Africa is particularly significant because it validates our consistent performance, our team’s dedication and, most importantly, the confidence our customers continue to place in us,” Akinwale said.
He added that the company’s business philosophy extends beyond the sale of computers and other technology products to helping customers make informed purchasing decisions and derive lasting value from their investments.
“We have always believed that our responsibility goes beyond selling technology products. Our goal is to help individuals and organisations access reliable technology, make informed purchasing decisions and receive the support they need to maximise their investments,” he said.
According to him, the awards would further encourage the company to improve its service standards and strengthen its contribution to Nigeria’s technology industry.
“These awards reinforce our commitment to those principles and inspire us to continue raising the standard of service delivery within Nigeria’s technology industry,” Akinwale added.
Broad technology portfolio supports growth
Established to provide technology products and solutions to individuals, businesses and institutions, Maxitech Global distributes products from leading manufacturers, including HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS and Apple.
Its portfolio covers laptops, desktop computers, workstations, printers, networking equipment and other IT products serving retail consumers, corporate organisations, resellers and institutional clients.
Beyond product distribution, the company offers enterprise technology solutions, IT infrastructure services, managed services, technical support and business technology integration.
Its operations also encompass technology procurement, product sourcing, deployment support, warranty management and after-sales services for corporate customers.
Through relationships with resellers and channel partners across Nigeria, Maxitech Global works to widen access to technology products while supporting distribution across different customer segments.
The company said its growth has been driven by its relationships with technology manufacturers, distribution network, operational processes and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Company eyes expansion into enterprise technology
Looking ahead, Maxitech Global intends to deepen its presence in enterprise technology by expanding the range of services it provides to organisations seeking integrated and long-term technology support.
Akinwale said the company’s ambition was to build a business recognised not only for distributing IT equipment but also for helping organisations address their evolving technology needs.
“Our ambition is to build Maxitech into one of Africa’s most respected technology solutions companies,” he said.
“While distribution remains an important foundation of our business, we recognise that the future lies in creating greater value for customers through enterprise solutions, technical expertise, managed services and long-term technology partnerships.”
He noted that the company wanted to establish stronger relationships with corporate customers by providing solutions that support their operational requirements and growth objectives.
“We want organisations to see Maxitech not simply as a supplier of computers and IT equipment, but as a trusted partner capable of supporting their technology requirements as they grow,” Akinwale said.
He described the latest HP recognition as an important milestone but stressed that the company’s long-term priorities remained focused on developing the capabilities, systems and partnerships needed to deliver sustainable value on a larger scale.
“The recognition from HP is an important milestone, but our focus remains on building the systems, capabilities and partnerships necessary to deliver sustainable value at a much larger scale,” he added.
Enterprise services at the centre of expansion strategy
The company’s expansion plans include enterprise infrastructure, IT support services, managed technology solutions, systems integration and technology lifecycle management.
Through these offerings, Maxitech Global aims to serve a wider range of organisations, including financial institutions, large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, educational institutions, development organisations and other businesses.
The strategy reflects the company’s intention to broaden its role in the technology market by combining product supply with technical expertise, implementation support and continuing customer service.
As organisations increasingly depend on digital infrastructure to support their operations, the company sees opportunities to develop longer-term partnerships that address technology procurement, deployment, maintenance and other business requirements.
Maxitech Global said the awards were dedicated to its employees, customers, business partners and other stakeholders whose contributions have supported its growth.
The company also expressed appreciation to HP for the recognition and continued partnership, describing the relationship as important to its efforts to strengthen its market presence and expand its technology solutions business.
With consecutive national recognition and a new regional award, Maxitech Global is positioning itself for its next phase of growth, with a stated focus on enterprise services, stronger technical capabilities and partnerships designed to deliver broader value to customers across Nigeria and West Africa.
